MCCLXXII (the roman figure for 1272, the year Schaubeck castle was built) is not primarily about the equipment. It's all about the heart and soul of the 750 years old castle, the park and its surroundings. MCCLXXII wants to inspire you in the first place, so you can write the music you later wish to record.
Being the music fanatic I am, I wanted to share some of that incredible creative vibe that our home has to offer.
From demos of unknown talents all the way to artist-in-residence programs for internationally renowned artists – everything is possible.
We want to create the most inspiring and relaxing setting possible. Aside from a collection of fine instruments and recording equipment which you are welcome to use, we have everything from a private pool, a wood fired pizza oven, vintage pinball machines, table soccer, ping-pong (et.al) to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
